Theme: The Path to Interior Freedom
The universal call to holiness provides a path to true interior freedom that results in detachment from faulty ways of thinking and relating to others. True freedom in Catholic tradition is different from the world's definition of freedom. It is not freedom to do anything one chooses based on worldly options Instead, is it the interior freedom to choose the best option as we come to discern as the Will of God.Presenters: Dr. Susie Veters and Fr. Dr. Susie Veters has been involved in many Catholic ministries for the last 30 years including marriage ministry, lay leadership development, and ministry to women. She holds degrees in Accounting, Theology, and Ministry. She was previously the Director of the Institute for Lay Ecclesial Ministry at Notre Dame Seminary as well as the Director of Community Engagement at the Catholic Community Foundation. She has been married to her husband, Pat, for 40 years and they have 3 grown sons.
