WOMEN OF MANRESA - SILENT WOMEN'S RETREAT
Theme: The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola
Presenter: Fr. Jeffrey Harrison, S. J. Jeffrey Harrison, S.J., is a St. Louis native whose work has taken him to many corners of the world in a wide variety of roles. He is currently the project coordinator for the Slavery, History, Memory & Reconciliation project which studies the history of Jesuit and Catholic slavery. Fr. Harrison has been on the faculties of De Smet Jesuit and St. Louis U High Schools in St. Louis and Regis Jesuit High School in Denver as well as the Jesuit English school in Taunggyi, Myanmar. He has been a project director with the Jesuit Refugee Service in Eastern Africa and has twice been assigned to Belize in Central America. Until August 2023, he was the pastor of St Matthew the Apostle Parish in the St Louis Ville area. Fr. Harrison has a BA in philosophy and an MA in history from St. Louis University; and MAs in Divinity and Theology from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley. He was ordained a Jesuit priest in St. Louis on June 12, 1987. Please note that assigned retreat directors are subject to change.
Registration Information: The retreat check-in is between 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and concludes after lunch on Sunday. Registration includes meals and accommodations.
