Presenter: Fr. Ross Romero, S.J.
Fr. Ross Romero, S.J. is a Jesuit priest originally from Hammond, Louisiana. After graduating from a Master’s program in philosophy at Louisiana State University, he entered the Society of Jesus, the Jesuits, in August 1995. After ordination to the priesthood in June 2005, he began work on a doctorate in ancient philosophy at Boston College. He is the author of many articles in philosophy as well as a monograph entitled Without the Least Tremor: The Sacrifice of Socrates in Plato’s Phaedo. He is currently an associate professor of philosophy at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St Louis. Kenrick-Glennon Seminary prepares men for the Catholic priesthood from over twenty dioceses across the Midwest.
