Join us on Tuesday mornings during Lent as we reflect upon what happened after the Miracle of Jesus? Lorraine Hess's book, After the Miracle, takes us on an imaginative journey with five fictitious short stories. Enjoy discussion questions and reflections with the author herself in a five session blook study that encourages us to recognize and respond to our own miracles.
We will meet from 8:45am- 10:15 am for five Tuesdays during Lent.

About the Presenter: Lorraine Hess s a nationally published Catholic singer, songwriter, speaker, author, and recording artist from New Orleans. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and has a master’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, New Orleans. She and served in music ministry since the age of sixteen and is the Director of Music Ministry at St. Catherine of Siena Church in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
Lorraine has seven solo albums of original liturgical/sacred music, and she has performed at various national Catholic conferences such as Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, Mid-Atlantic Congress, and National Association of Pastoral Musicians Conference. Her music is published by World Library Publications, GIA Publications and Oregon Catholic Press.
She produced a video for the year of St. Joseph (available on YouTube) and her Mass setting, The Mass of St. Catherine of Siena, was a finalist for Mass Setting of the Year in 2023 by the Association of Catholic Publishers.
She is also co-host of the podcast, Beloved, now being followed in more than forty countries, and author of the book, After the Miracle, a collection of biblical fiction short stories. Her greatest vocation, however, is that of wife and mother to 4 sons.
