WOMEN OF MANRESA - SILENT WOMEN'S RETREAT
Theme: The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola
Presenter: Fr. Mark Mossa, S.J.
Fr. Mark Mossa, S.J. is a faculty member in the Religious Studies department and Program Director of the Canizaro Center for Catholic Studies at Loyola University New Orleans. He was formerly Director of Campus Ministry at St. Mary Student Parish at the University of Michigan, and at Spring Hill College. His pedagogy and retreats combine scholarly texts, film, literature, spirituality and popular culture, and insights gained from the ups and downs of his own religious and spiritual journey. Once a year, he directs retreats at Manresa Retreat House, and assists with the Women's Retreat directed by Becky Eldredge and Stephanie Clouatre-Davis each summer here at The Cenacle on the Lake. He is the author of Already There: Letting God Find You and Saint Ignatius Loyola: The Spiritual Writings. He is a co-editor and contributor to An Ignatian Spirituality: Volume 2, which will be published in November by Loyola Press. Please note that assigned retreat directors are subject to change.
Registration Information: The retreat check-in is between 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and concludes after lunch on Sunday. Registration includes meals and accommodations.
